Au d\u00e9part, une installation…\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/h2>\n

Iconostase<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0, c\u2019est au d\u00e9part une \u00ab\u00a0installation iconographique\u00a0\u00bb r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en r\u00e9sidence au Centre d\u2019Art de la Pommerie (Corr\u00e8ze, France), en 2004.<\/p>\n

L\u2019installation repr\u00e9sente une s\u00e9rie de 12 \u00ab\u00a0Icones\u00a0\u00bb avec \u00ab\u00a0reliques\u00a0\u00bb, qui sont des photographies dans une boite en bois, comportant des objets-souvenirs. La s\u00e9rie des 12 images s\u2019enchainent dans un ordre logique et rappellent les douze stations d\u2019un chemin de croix.<\/p>\n

L\u2019installation de ces ic\u00f4nes dans le Centre d\u2019Art de la Pommerie a pris une forme multidimensionnelle et pluridisciplinaire, qui a engendr\u00e9 dans l\u2019espace la pr\u00e9sence d\u2019autres \u0153uvres plastiques et photographiques, ainsi que des recherches sonores et performatives. Les images sont devenues vivantes \u00e0 travers la performance, le corps et la voix, les mots, la po\u00e9sie et les exp\u00e9riences sonores. L\u2019espace est devenu le cadre d\u2019une histoire.<\/p>\n

L\u2019ensemble a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9uni et reconstruit dans une \u0153uvre unique, un film exp\u00e9rimental de 20 min, le film \u00ab\u00a0Iconostase\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb (voir dans \u00ab\u00a0oeuvres vid\u00e9os\u00a0\u00bb) <\/em><\/p>\n

At first, an installation…<\/span><\/b><\/h2>\n

Icono-Stase is a serie of 12 icons, made with photography and memories objects. These 12 boxes are called Icons, and the whole series reminds the stations of a \u201croad to a cross\u201d, which has been presented in a big installation in an old barn, during a residency project in 2004.<\/span><\/p>\n

Along the residency, this installation took some multidimensional forms and extensions, and became the frame of a story, where the pictures became alive into performances, body and voices, words, poetry and experimental sounds, to translate finally a research and a reflexion about the movement itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

These actions took place in the frame of the original installation, and the process has been filmed, to gather and connect the whole creative space. <\/span>Icono-Stase became later an experimental film of a movement-sounds-body performance, in the frame of an iconographic installation.<\/span><\/p>\n
