The sound installation by composer Eliane Radigues, âTrilogy of Deathâ (1998), a major experimental work of minimalist electronic music, serves as the medium for this performance.
The graphic transposition of this absolute musical work, which challenges the deep layers of being, will be perpetuated in a graphic and corporeal work: The sounds and their deep vibrations will be interpreted and made visible on paper, through the medium of the body, its presence and its sensations. The sound universe will be perceived physically and become a graphic trace, a drawing in space.
Sounds, bodies and drawings interact experimentally and evolve throughout the musical trilogy, on the same paper surface, by means of the body, various instruments and graphic means, allowing the sound experience to be traced and the infinite variations of the color black to be explored.
This performance is part of a process that develops slowly and reveals itself to the public as a living « tableau », a contemplative work, evolving over time.
